Officials say they've never seen anything like the imprint of a distinct blue line extending from just north of Springfield directly west to beyond the Illinois state line. Officials say it's not weather interference. Meteorologist Chris Miller says it’s probably a 4G transmitter.

     Although harmless, the National Weather Service continues to work on the cause.

     Miller says forecasts and weather warnings should still be accurate.
